"OVERLOADED HOUSES"

Strong overplay of matters using the natural overlay (Aries–Pisces).

Difficulty handling, therefore tends to exhibit through opposite house, also consider layout in the Progressed  Chart; overload can occur there but not in natal chart.

Native can overcome with maturity, growth, and recognizing problem patterns.

House possibles:

  1. Wants relationships, but has trouble retaining.
  2. Can’t handle money; impractical; but has lots of ideas.
  3. Can’t stop talking; problems with basic education.
  4. Never really leaves home; difficulty making a home of their own.
  5. Overestimates own talent. (Leo)  Emotional house reaction. Non-emotional overload. In a child’s chart:  tries to use emotion, but doesn’t handle it well.
  6. Virgo trait; must learn to handle by  using 12th house influence. Usually comes in contact with people who  have health problems.
  7. Problems with relationships; loses own personality. Needs solitary meditation to recover. Tends to vanish without notice.
  8. Must have proof. Either gets into  stress situations or handles them for others. May use other people’s  money for personal needs. (Stock brokers, land developers).
  9. Cannot keep confidences, difficulties  with morality and other values. Needs good solid moral upbringing. Has  difficulty relating to those with different points of view.
  10. Lots of ambition, but trouble with putting it in prospective.  (Capricorn) Tends to manage home better than career.
  11. Difficulty handling friendships or  group connections because of emotional involvement. (Aquarius) Solves  using 5th house energy like dealing with children.
  12. Wants to be independent, but can’t handle loneliness. Very busy but may accomplish little.

"UNDERSTANDING THE BODY"

A chart that shows houses can reveal  important data to assist the astrologer when seeking information about  health concerns. The 6th and 12th houses and planets positioned therein  should be considered first when suggesting possible health issues. The 6th for initial, early life problems and the 12th for hidden or later-in-life developments.

The astrologer should never analyze a health concern without stating that it is not to be considered as a medical diagnosis, and always urging the subject to refer to a qualified  health practitioner.

"QUINTILES (72° & 144°)"

Robert Hand and  Bill Tierney, both  referencing John Addy’s  work on harmonics, have noted a certain  destructive quality  to the Quintile series, based on charts of such  notable bad guys  as Robespierre and Hitler. They do, however, also note  that there is a  positive and creative quality inherent in it. Hand,  for instance, says  that he associated the “five-series” aspects  with transformation and  “the fundamental energies of change (and)  ability to turn creative inspiration  into concrete end-products.”

Tierney tells us that in  the early esoteric  schools of astrology “the quintile was considered to  symbolize an  aspirant’s creative soul alignment with the Will of the  Cosmos,  suggesting that quintiles have occult, transcendental undertones.”  He  further suggests that quintiles fulfill their lofty universal potential   once we have struggled to become more self-realized.   Both authors speak of a drive and determination to create associated   with the Quintiles. Yet another perspective, offered by A.G.S. Norris,   tells us that “the quintile aspect is of importance in  delineation from  a spiritual point of view,” and associates it  with Mercury and the  nature of Epiphany.

"SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSES OF 2011"

Pathways Thru Astrology with Ruth Williams

Eclipses end circumstances or open the way to new ones. Solars create transitions with greater intensity and Lunars bring changes to the “form” of a situation. The house location tells where in your life the related events occur. As a reminder one’s progressed Sun and Chart Angles must be considered.

Jim Sher: jim@sherastrology.com writes, “2011 promises to be a very exciting one with many new cycles being born that will change our lives in exciting and unpredictable ways. A Solar Eclipse always occurs at a New Moon, but becomes perhaps 100 times stronger in its effects than a regular New Moon. I refer to a Solar Eclipse as an inertia destroyer, as it seems to force us to make a significant shift in some aspects of our lives.”

Solar  Jan 4                 13 deg 39 min Capricorn

Solar  June 1               11 deg 02 min Gemini

Lunar  June 15            24 deg 23 min Sagittarius, Sun in Gemini

Solar    July 1              09 deg 12 min Cancer

Solar    Nov 25             02 deg 37 min Sagittarius

Lunar    Dec 10            18 deg 11 min Gemini, Sun in Sagittarius

Cancer/Capricorn influence is related to security and structure.

Gemini/Sagittarius influence is related to communication, education, & belief systems.

Outer Planets:

PLUTO travelling from 04 deg 53 min to 07 deg 36 min Capricorn        will stress levels of will power when aspects in Aries, Cancer, Libra, & especially   Capricorn are activated. Those with similar degrees in Taurus and Virgo will experience a plus in financial affairs and work.

When Pluto and its Moon Charon were in Sagittarius optimism was rampant. When Pluto entered Capricorn in November 2008 and transited over the U.S. Federal Reserve Sun it brought a challenge for the United States, which continues to this day. This was coupled with the Saturn opposition to Uranus and square to Pluto; this T-Square guaranteed         changes in laws and government. It also restricted individual control and allowed manipulation in financial matters. The opportunity for progress, personal growth  & maturity was part of the challenge. Pluto/Charon rules entitlement. There  are no shortcuts, positive steps are required. This should be a wake-up call to  all the World rulers. Interesting that “Entitlements” seem to be currently in the news.

NEPTUNE travelling from 26 deg 45 min Aquarius to 0 deg Pisces         can obscure vision. At the January 4th Eclipse, Venus is in exact square to Neptune.   Venus can emphasize “love” themes or things of value to us. Aspects prominent at the time of an eclipse can repeat when the degree of the eclipse is activated later by other planetary transits. Trines 120 degrees to Gemini & Libra, or to Cancer & Scorpio from Pisces can be inspirational or deceptive.  Aquarian influence intensifies socially with friends & groups and those things aspired to. Pisces influence can promote spiritual unity. The squares are to Scorpio and Taurus and opposition to Leo. All Neptune aspects must include a practical background.

URANUS travels the first 4 degrees of Aries from March 11th to the summer of 2012. Prior to March, it is still in Pisces. So a trine to 27-29 degrees of Cancer or Scorpio emphasizes emotions. Jupiter is conjunct Uranus at the time of the January 4th eclipse. This can initiate sudden insights about “belief systems”.  This could call for some “revolutionary” thinking and clarifying ideas according to James Schultz who contributed to Jim Sher’s astrology site. This is the initiation of a new Jupiter-Uranus cycle which culminates in 2024. Uranus into Aries can be anti-establishment or creative expression. When Uranus enters Aries in March until the summer of 2012 it trines the first 4 degrees of Sagittarius and Leo. A Fire trine pumps lots of action. Now is the hour for the early Fire folks.  Those with their Sun close to 0 degrees of Aries are truly birthing a “new self”. Also remember that it will square Cancer and Capricorn and oppose Libra. The square demands action.
